Westech Building Products, Inc., a Westlake Chemical company, announced today that its Evansville, Indiana facility received a 2014 Indiana Governor’s Workplace Safety Award, in the “Innovation” category.

The annual Governor's Workplace Safety Awards are a result of a partnership among the Indiana Department of Labor, on behalf of Governor Michael Pence, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Central Indiana Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers. This award provides recognition for companies based on best practices in eliminating workplace injuries and illnesses.
