HOUSTON, June 5, 2012 -- Westlake Chemical (NYSE:WLK) announced today that in order to provide focused attention and resources to the company's ongoing corporate business development efforts the Olefins and Business Development function has been divided into two separate departments. Mr. Don Condon, currently serving as Sr. Vice President, Olefins and Corporate Business Development has been appointed Sr. Vice President, Corporate Business Development. In this role he will oversee the company's business development efforts on a global basis. Mr. Skip Teel, Vice President, Olefins - Commercial has been promoted to Vice President, Olefins and will assume full P & L and operational responsibility for the Olefins business to include the company's ethylene and related co-products business as well as styrene monomers.
